ROAD CLOSURE
FOR
RENOVATIONS TO BERMUDA FIRE & MARINE BUILDING
Sunday 14th November, 2021
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that there will be a road closure on Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke for the BCM McAlpine Ltd firm to carry out renovations to the Bermuda Fire and Marine building located at 112 Pitt’s Bay Road. The road closure will be from Rosemont Avenue through to Woodbourne Avenue.
All traffic traveling in a westerly direction on Pitts Bay Road will be detoured to Woodbourne Avenue while all traffic traveling in an easterly direction into Hamilton will be detoured via Rosemont Avenue. Access will be granted to Waterloo Lane from the Rosemont Avenue side.
The works will commence on Sunday 14th November, 2021 from the hours of 7:00am to 4:00pm to accommodate the operation of crane works.
Traffic controls will be under direction of the BCM-McAlpine Ltd representatives.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid this section of road during these times and to use alternative routes.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
