NOTICE OF WRECK

The Merchant Shipping Act 2002

Pursuant to the provisions of section 202 of the Merchant Shipping Act 2002, I hereby give notice that the vessel described below was salvaged from the waters off Bermuda, and has come under the administration of the Receiver of Wreck:-

Hull material..................................   Fibre-reinforced plastic

Length overall................................   Approximately 55.1ft.

Beam.............................................   Approximately 16ft. 3in.

Condition of vessel

This vessel was discovered adrift at sea with no one on board by a passing vessel. The seaworthiness of the vessel was examined and after the bilge pumping was conducted the vessel was sailed on its own power into Bermuda.  The inside of the boat appears to be in good condition.  There is no apparent structural damage to the hull.

Claims

Claims of owners to wreck must be established to the satisfaction of the Receiver of Wreck within one year of the date of this Notice.  Claims may be sent to the Receiver of Wreck, P.O. Box 2084, Hamilton, HM HX, Bermuda or by email to customs@gov.bm.
