The Government of Bermuda, Ministry of Public Works is soliciting responses from experienced Companies to provide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) (Pilot) proposals for the Ministry of Public Works Water and Sewage Section.

It is the intention of the Ministry of Public Works Water Section to eventually install a full scale Advanced Metering Infrastructure to manage its existing water distribution system consisting of 1074 mechanical water meters as well as monitor its well field systems consisting of 244 abstraction points.

The Government of Bermuda, Ministry of Public Works is soliciting responses from experienced Companies to provide Waterproofing and expansion Joint Replacement proposals for the Ministry of Public Works Structures Section.  It is the intention of the Ministry of Public Works Structures Section to replace the existing waterproofing system of the bridge as well as the existing damaged expansion joints.

The Ministry of Public Works is seeking a service provider for the provision of island-wide recycling collection services, including "blue bag" collection, for households, rest homes, all private and public schools, Government work places, public docks, approximately 80 dual purpose bus stop bins, and Government-operated facilities outside the corporation of Hamilton , including BLDC and WEDCO properties.

Tenders are invited from qualified general contractors with proven experience to manage as the following projects referenced works.

This project consists of providing all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and services to perform:

• Interior Refurbishment -demolition, dry walling, painting, glazing, ceiling system and tiling (included but not limited to)
• Modification to HVAC
• Modification to Electrical 

Important Dates

The work will involve the provision of mechanical digging equipment to excavate and expose water supply mains to be repaired by Ministry of Public Works(MPW) personnel. Once repaired the contractor shall supply all materials, labour and equipment to backfill and reinstate the excavation. The work is to be undertaken on an as needed basis and the contractor shall respond to a request no later than 24hrs following notification.

The Government of Bermuda is seeking to expand and maintain its programmes to monitor, manage and change behaviours in offenders, with the protection of the community as the primary consideration. Electronic monitoring involves having an electronic bracelet (device) attached to an offender, deemed to be in need of intensive monitoring, and/or having restrictions placed on their movements. The offenders remain in the community, with mechanisms to promote behaviour change and minimize risks to the community.

The Government of Bermuda, Ministry of Public Works is soliciting proposals from experienced qualified Contractor to provide professional engineering, construction, and mechanical & electrical installation services associated with the supply and installation of a Replacement Clinker Crane at the Tynes Bay Ash Plant Facility.  The purpose of this work is to decommission and replace the existing clinker crane along with its associated mechanical and electrical support systems which have reached their useful life.  The project specifically involves the following:
