Reminder - boat and mooring owners to renew licenses by May 31st, 2017
The Department of Marine and Ports, Boats and Moorings section, is reminding boat owners and mooring licensees that the deadline for licensing renewals is midnight Wednesday, May 31st, 2017 (or 4:30pm Wednesday May 31st 2017 if paying in person).
2018 decals must be in place by June 1st on all moorings and boats. Mooring licenses that are not renewed as of May 31st will incur a late fee.
Renewal notices are no longer being sent out. Owners can now access their information online at www.marineandports.bm. A list of current licensing fees is also available for viewing on the website.
Boat and mooring owners are further advised to make sure they have a correct address on file with the Department. Transfers of boats or moorings must be done in person with photo ID at the department. boatsandmoorings@gov.bm to update their details.
Payment can be made in three ways:
- Payment in person- methods are cash, cheque or card
- Payment online through www.marineandports.bm. Detailed instructions are on the website.
- Cheque in the mail
Members of the public coming to pay in person are advised that the Boats and Moorings Section has RELOCATED to 108 Middle Road, Paget (Old Paget Post Office).
