2023 King’s Birthday Reception
Summary
1. Completion of the 2023 King’s Birthday Reception questionnaire allows the entrant to register their interest to receive an invitation for themselves and one guest to attend the King’s Birthday Reception at Government House Bermuda between 6pm-8pm on Thursday, 22 June 2023.
2. The term ‘Entrant’ refers to the person registering their interest. The term ‘Guest’ refers to the person the entrant will bring to the function.
3. The link will be active as of noon on 13 March 2023 and close at 12 noon on 31 March 2023.
4. Entrants and guests need to be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrance is for one or two people as per invitation. Entrants should note that alcohol will be served at the function.
How to Enter
1. The questionnaire can be completed online via the Survey Planet website. The link to the questionnaire will be available on the Government House FaceBook page (www.facebook.com/GovtHouseBDA/).
2. The questionnaire must be submitted no later than 12 noon on 31 March 2023.

3. You can request a hard copy of the questionnaire from Government House by emailing governmenthouse@gov.bm.
4. Once completed in full the hard copy questionnaire should be delivered to:

or emailed to governmenthouse@gov.bm.
5. The deadline for hard copy entries received at Government House is 5 pm on 31 March 2023. Any entries received after this deadline will not be accepted.
The Prize
1. Entrance for the successful applicant and one (1) guest to the 2023 King’s Birthday Reception at Government House Bermuda from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 22 June 2023. This includes light refreshments and entertainment only.
Selection Process
1. A number of Invitations will be available for successful candidates.
2. Government House reserves the right to offer invitations to people outside this process.
3. People who are successful in obtaining an invitation will be contacted so that a time can be arranged to collect their invitation.
Rules
1. Government House reserves the right to remove any person from this process. This includes incomplete entries.
2. Entrants may only register their interest once. Multiple entries will be discarded.
3. Entrants can only enter themselves and may not enter on another person’s behalf without that person’s consent.
4. Entrants must be resident in Bermuda.
5. Government House reserves the right to refuse to offer an invitation to any person whom Government House decides (in its sole discretion) has violated the Rules.
6. By accepting these terms and conditions, successful entrants grant Government House the right to use any photographs of the entrant and guest, where applicable, taken on the day of the reception to be used on the Government House website and social media feeds and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
7. Only the person who originally entered the ballot can be awarded the invitation.
Government House Responsibility
1. Government House takes no responsibility for any inability to enter or complete an entry due to equipment or technical malfunction or lack of access to same.
2. Government House reserves the right to cancel the 2023 King’s Birthday Reception in the event of adverse weather.
3. Government House takes no responsibility for costs incurred by invited recipients should the event be cancelled.
4. Government House reserves the right to refuse admittance to any person, or to withdraw their invitation once they have entered Government House grounds, should Government House management judge this necessary.
Privacy
1. The information provided by entrants will be used for the purposes of this event. If you are successful in obtaining an invitation, this information will be used for event management purposes.
2. All practicable steps will be taken to ensure the safety and privacy of this information provided during this process. Persons are entitled to access and correct their information with us at any time.
3. The names and addresses of successful candidates will be held in the Government House database following the closure of the survey. Successful candidates are advised that Government House may contact them regarding attendance at other functions.
