Get a British Overseas Territory passport

How to apply
In order to make application for British Overseas Territory Citizen (BOTC) Passport the following steps must be taken:
- Visit the Department of Immigration website
- Download and print the Application Form (single sided only)
- Complete the application form in black ink
- Supporting documentation: See Resources to help you complete the application form.
- View all accepted occupations for countersignatory
- Visit the photograph requirement website: Get a passport photo: Printed photos - GOV.UK
- Make online payment to the HSBC bank Account to include description
- eg FULL NAME DOB Type of Application i.e. JOHN MOE 27 MAY 1978 Passport (View all Immigration Fees and online payment guidance)
- Make a copy of the online payment receipt and include with your application submission
Who can get a British Overseas Territory Passport?
You must provide enough evidence to satisfy the Passport Officer of your identity and claim to hold a BOTC passport. It will help your application by submitting as much evidence as you can. Original documents are always required and will be returned with your BOTC passport. Photocopies and laminated documents are not accepted.

Lost or stolen passports
Lost or stolen passports must be reported to the police The Lost and Stolen Passport Notification Form (LS01) must be completed (single side in black ink) in addition to the BOTC passport application form. See Lost or Stolen Passport Guidance.
Name Changes
If you are utilizing a name that differs from the one assigned to you on your birth certificate, you must provide official documentation verifying your name change i.e. deed poll.
If the name change is due to marriage, you are required to submit your original marriage certificate.
If you have been married more than once, you require your divorce absolute and/or death certificate(s), where applicable.
The Department of Immigration adheres to His Majesty’s Passport Office name alignment policy. The name on your BOTC passport must match your name appearing on any other passport you hold. If you hold other passports with a name that differs from the name on your BOTC passport, your application will be declined. Additionally, it should be noted that this applies to all original documents i.e. birth marriage etc.
Please be aware that upon submission, further documentation could be required to complete your request.

The following fees apply for the British Overseas Territories Citizen (BOTC) passport:

Providing express passport service for a temporary passport (within 8 business days fee is refundable only if deadline of less than 8 business days is not met) | $105.00 |

The application fee is not refundable should the application be refused or withdrawn.
