School Transformation Team Expression of Interest (EOI)
Thank you for deciding to apply to join the Transformation Team for Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy. The work that will be undertaken is not just about transforming another school. Most importantly, it is about transforming how Bermuda supports all learners. The new Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy will demonstrate Bermuda’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and excellence for all students. You have taken the first step to being considered for an exciting and challenging learning and leadership journey.
Once the School Transformation Team members are selected, the team will work together over the upcoming 18 months to co-design, with educators and community stakeholders, the transformation of Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy; a school with a teaching, learning and comprehensive support model that will meet the specific needs of students with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities and complex developmental delays, who require multi-layered interdisciplinary support. This school will challenge traditional models by creating a learning space where wraparound support is available to students.
