The public is advised that the Convening of the Legislature will take place tomorrow (March 14), on the Cabinet Lawn, where His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Andrew Murdoch will set out the Government’s legislative agenda for the upcoming year. 

The formal proceedings get underway at 10.30 a.m.

It should be noted that this Convening of the Legislature is taking place following the February 2025 General Election. 

Prior to the start of the formal proceedings, there will be elections of a Speaker of the House of Assembly, a Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly, a President of the Senate and Vice President of the Senate. Additionally, all members of the legislature will take their Official Parliamentary Oaths.
