The Human Rights Act, 1981 (Act) establishes an independent Selection and Appointment Committee, which has a statutory function to appoint members to serve on a panel as members of the Human Rights Tribunal. Sections 13A and 13B of the Act set out the provisions for the recruitment, selection and appointment of the Human Rights Tribunal panel members. The Selection and Appointment Committee is pleased to make the following reappointments with effect from September 22, 2024. 

Human Rights Tribunal, Panel

Panel Member – Fiona Bada, appointed for one year.

Panel Member – Elaine Butterfield, appointed for one year.

Panel Member – Christopher Cunningham, appointed for one year.

Panel Member – Dawn Eversley, appointed for one year.

Panel Member – Sita Ingram, appointed for one year.

Panel Member – LeVince Roberts, appointed for one year.

Panel Member – Casey Schuler, appointed for one year.

Panel Member – Claire van Overdijk, appointed for one year.
