PUBLIC HEALTH (COVID-19 EMERGENCY POWERS)
(PHASED RE-OPENING) REGULATIONS 2021
AMENDMENT OF LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION STANDARD CONDITIONS
The Minister of Youth, Culture and Sport hereby amends the following large group exemptions which were previously granted under regulation 5(5) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) (Phased Re-opening) Regulations 2021, by substituting the following for Standard Large Group Condition 2:
“2. The use of SafeKey is required for all spectators gathered above the permitted number of persons. Sport groups (players, coaches and officials) must follow the testing framework in the Return to Play Guidance at www.gov.bm/guidance-governing-sporting-bodies-affiliated-clubs-teams-and-sporting-events. SafeKeys must be checked against a valid ID with name and date of birth, and be verified on https://verify.gov.bm prior to entry, per guidance at www.gov.bm/safekey.
As an alternative to the use of SafeKey for gatherings held indoors at a restaurant, attendees may produce a valid Bermuda COVID-19 vaccination certificate (as defined in those Regulations) which must be checked against a valid ID with name and date of birth prior to entry.”
