Department of Planning Services Upgrade Online Submission System Upgrade planned for 15 January
The Department of Planning is pleased to announce the next phase of our file management system ‘Energov’. The Department successfully went live with the first phase of this paperless system in August 2019.
Director of Planning, Victoria Pereira said, “Energov has provided the Department with a platform to streamline many of our services and provide user-friendly options for customers.
"This next phase allows for the Department’s continued improvement of various efficiencies; specifically allowing for planning submissions to be made directly through our Customer Self-Service (CSS) site.
"The CSS is a user-friendly platform, allowing for the search of all public planning records, estimation of fees, submission of applications and the request for inspections. As improvements continue and additional features are implemented, we hope the CSS will be a much-valued resource for Bermuda's Planning needs.
"The system upgrade is scheduled for Friday, 15 January and EnerGov and the associated Customer Self-Service (CSS) site will be unavailable. The Department of Planning offices will remain open as normal and submissions may still be received via email to planningfrontdesk@gov.bm.
"All inspection requests for active construction projects may be made using the existing code-a-phone system on 297-7828.
"All submissions and inspection results received this Friday will be processed once the upgrade is completed on Monday, 18 January 2021.
"We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this necessary interruption of online services on Friday."
