Thirty-Ninth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community

Attended the Thirty-ninth Annual Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government.  It was the first Heads of Government meeting since Premier David Burt assumed office.  The Premier presented on Bermuda's FinTech ambitions and further discussed how Distributed Ledger technology can more generally assist with challenges in servicing citizens and increase government efficiency in areas of healthcare, social insurance and licensing, as well as the strides Bermuda is making in these areas. 

Caribbean Infrastructure Forum

Premier was invited to speak to delegates at the KMPG infrastruture forum. Preimer also met with the Dean of the University of West Indies. 

Consensus 2018

Premier led Bermuda deletegation to Consensus 2018 conference. Premier spoke to conference attendees and conducted meetings with potential investors and media. 

Meetings on Capitol Hill

Breakfast meeting with members of the Congressional Black Caucus and meetings with members of Congress regarding Bermuda's financial services industry.  

Trade Association Meetings in Washington, DC

After delivering the commencement address at the George Washington University School of Business, the Premier conducted meetings with the Digital Chamber of Commerce and officials on Capitol Hill.
