The Premier, the Hon. E. David Burt, JP. MP., accompanied by a Government official, travelled to New York City on 2nd April, 2025, for the official opening of "Circle's new Global headquarters at One World Trade Centre. The event hosted industry, key partners and political leaders central to Circle's growth and success.

This license positioned Circle as the first major global crypto company to operate under Bermuda's robust regulatory framework. Circle would later have its initial public offering (IPO) on Thursday, 5th June, 2025. The stablecoin issuer's shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) that day under the ticker symbol CRCL at $31 per share.
The Premier joined Circle executives, key partners, and U.S. policymakers at the opening ceremony, which underscored Bermuda's role as a trusted partner in advancing global digital finance standards. The visit reinforced the long-standing partnership between the Government of Bermuda and Circle, highlighting shared priorities in innovation, regulatory leadership, and real-world use cases of digital assets, including the Government of Bermuda's progress driving local stablecoin adoption.
