National Digital Health Architecture Consulting Services

This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the "Government") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for National Digital Health Architecture Consulting Services as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables").

The Ministry has led on various initiatives to execute on the Bermuda Health Strategy. One of the Health Strategy goals to harness technology was to "establish a system-wide vision and integrated digital healthcare strategy".  To do this, the Ministry created a National Digital Health Strategy Workgroup in 2022 tasked with developing a national digital health strategy that could be feasiblly implemented in Bermuda.  Cabinet endorsed the strategy in September 2023 with direction to move to phase 2 and define the implementation plan, timeline, and budget.  A new working group, the National Digital Health Committee, launched in October 2023 to lead on phase 2 of the project.

The National Digital Health Committee requires consulting services to define the technical requirements of the national digital health platform architecture, and technical support in developing the project's implementation plan, implementation timeline, and budget.  This plan is targeted to be submitted to cabinet by the spring of 2024.
