What do they do?
The Government of Bermuda’s Brussels Office opened in 2019 to develop and deepen links with the EU institutions and EU Member States in the areas of interest to Bermuda, including in re/insurance (Solvency II), financial services, and taxation.

The Brussels Office:
- Provides regular policy advice and information to the Government of Bermuda on events, policies, and developments in the EU and its Member States
- Advocates for Bermuda’s interests among key decision-makers within the EU’s institutions, its Member States, and relevant stakeholders
- Promotes Bermuda as a cooperative and transparent jurisdiction and encourages economic development and investment between Europe and Bermuda
- Acts as a focal point for European public and private sector actors to obtain information on the island
- Coordinates meetings in Brussels and across Europe for visiting delegations from the Government of Bermuda
