Bermuda’s Shorelink App Now Tracks School Buses in Real Time

The Ministry of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport is pleased to announce a major enhancement to Phase 2 of the Digital Fare Media Project: Real-Time Passenger Information for Bermuda’s public transport network now includes school buses. 

Starting September 9th, students and parents can track Department of Public Transportation school buses in real time using the Shorelink App, available for download on iOS and Android devices.

“The inclusion of school buses in the Shorelink App is a game-changer for families across Bermuda,” said Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport, Owen Darrell. “Parents can now follow their child’s school bus journey with confidence, knowing exactly when and where the bus will arrive. It’s a meaningful step forward in safety, convenience, and care, modernizing our transport system in ways that directly benefit our community.”

What’s New in the Shorelink App:

  1. Real-time tracking for school buses, alongside public buses and ferries
  2. Live arrival and departure times
  3. Route visibility and location updates

With 11 public bus routes, 4 ferry routes, and now school bus services operating across the island, the Shorelink App empowers passengers of all ages to plan their journeys with ease—eliminating uncertainty and long waits at stops.
